Hello, all! It's been a while. A year, in fact, since I updated this journal. But a lot has happened! I went to college, I wrote stories, I found LOVE. . . And somehow, there wasn't much time for deviantart in there :/ But. . . Today's a new day. I am working, full-force, on a new comic (called "Carnival of the Animals") and it's gonna be better than anything you've seen from me yet! You'll start to see new stuff for it in my gallery Whooo~!

This journal entry's gonna be sort of short, but as I said in the paragraph up there, I fell in love! Last summer, I went to that artist meetup (that I talked about in the journal I wrote a year ago) and I met the most fantastic guy there His name is fleebites (haha) and he is incredible. We got together in October, and have been going strong since then!! He is much, much more of a talented artist than I am, so you should DEFINITELY check his stuff out! If you like webcomics, this one is just FANTASTIC: WOLF WEARS WOOL . . . one of the best ones I've ever read.  He also has a dA ( fleebites.deviantart.com/ ), and a tumblr ( fleebites.tumblr.com/ ) . . . so yeah! WOWZERS!! I am so happy! It's been a whole day since then, but I'm still walkin' on sunshine!!

Yesterday, I organized a DC artist meetup... and it turned out to be the BEST THING EVER!! We had an absolute BLAST!! Or at least, I know I did!! It was SO MUCH FUN! I got to meet some artists I've been absolutely crazy about since like, ever! We met up at a non-crowded foodcourt in DC, and drew until it closed xD then we went outside, and talked and drew until it got dark!! It was just an absolute blast!

They were also SO KIND, and drew me pictures!! You don't know how amazing it is to have your favorite artists just be such sweetiepies and draw you things xD (and share lots of hugs!) I also got to draw them stuff, though I was so nervous my hands kept shaking... Ahaha hope I wasn't too much of a spaz!!

was SO AMAZING! I drew him a picture before today, and he draw me one in return that he brought with him x3 He also gave me a Pietro sketch that is just TO DIE FOR! Haha, I love it!! I also got to see some of his independent projects, and they are SO COOL! He has an insane talent for character design, it's just amazing! Not to mention he is like the nicest, sweetest, awesomest person ever x3

I have entire FOLDERS of her porn artwork!! She's SUCH a nice person, and really interesting and awesome! She drew me THE BEST little Kurt and Todd fight scene! It is so cool! It was hilarious, because I kept asking about these pictures I had seen on the internet, and didn't know the source, and she was like, "Oh, that was me." "Yeah, that was also me." xDDD IT WAS SO FREAKIN COOL!

Ohmigosh. I had met her once before, but we never actually got to talk really... She is so awesome! She drew me this ADORABLE ponytail-Kurt (she didn't even know that I have a huge ponytail-kurt fetish lol xD) and she drew my friend this AWESOME ink drawing of Kurt and Todd fighting! (it was a commission from Otakon) just like, the coolest thing ever! (We also got to fangirl about Baccano!, and Tenisu no Ouji, and I got to look at her art folders on her laptop 8D)

and also came with moi, and oh wow, it was just so much fun!! I'm still so unbelievably happy!!

Also, in other news, I just got my first paycheck from my government job. Holy poop :0 I went from barely above 0 in my savings account (buying college crap on a retail sallary.. not fun) and now it's just like... wow. It's a HUGE hassle to get a government job, but SO worth it! I'm really happy!

And I know, some of you are requesting pictures of my tattoo :/ I'll post some later, once it heals all the way (and once I am not shy enough to show the interbutts my back xD;;; ) But you will see the little scarab dude, if yer patient!

Also... The one damper on my mood... I'm leaving for college on Thursday morning.... ;_; I've already cried twice. I'm gonna miss my friends SO FREAKING MUCH. On the one hand, I'm excited... but I'm also nervous, and depressed... But hey, there's always internet, right? At least I can keep in touch with them through skype, and nothing's really gonna change between me and my awesome /co/mrades on Tinychat xDD;; (I just found out that two of you speak Esperanto, too... OHGAWD SO MUCH LOVE) I love you all~!!

Hello everyone!

Do you live in the DC/Virginia/Maryland area? If so, we're holding another artist meetup! It'll be held at the food court in the Ronald Reagan building (by Federal Triangle metro stop... Not many people know about this awesome place to eat in DC!) It's gonna be at 2:30 on Sunday, August 22! SO MANY great artists are coming already, it's sure to be a blast! As always, note me if you're coming, please :]

In other news, I got a tattoo. I designed it myself... He's a cute little scarab, on my back. I may or may not post a picture of it later, idk if you guys wanna see my gay little blue scarab >_>;; But still, I love it, and it makes me happy every time I look at it!
